Many attempts have been made to combat the issue of teenage knife crime, but it is still a very present force on the streets of the UK. This film addresses the issue of teenage knife crime from a much-needed, fresh, challenging perspective: it targets not just those holding the knife, but those encouraging them - particularly girls. It is a call to girlfriends, friends and gang members alike to set a new standard - to start making judgements on what is right and what is wrong, and ditching the losers with the knives. As long as knives are cool, fashionable and socially accepted, this devastating problem will not go away. However, if we as young people can change how knives are viewed, we can change how they are used. The central idea of this film is that everyone needs to take responsibility for their own involvement in knife crime, no matter how small a contribution they are making. 'All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.' ~ Edmund Burke MUSIC: Kevin MacLeod.
